On the way back home from Happisburgh, I diverted to Gorleston-on-Sea as I could see some nice light in the sky and thought I would make the most of the day.
The weather conditions were rather mixed today being mainly overcast which I thought would be ideal for some moody long exposure photography at Happisburgh.
On my last outing I went to Eccles on Sea, where I got some fantastic long exposure shots of the sea groynes and rocks. This stretch of coastline is no stranger to coastal erosion and this is well pronounced at Happisburgh.
I took a trip out to Eccles on Sea this evening to get some long exposures with the man placed rocks and sea groynes. Eccles on Sea is located south of Happisburgh and north of Sea Palling.
I wanted to make the most of this weekend by getting out and about, and although the weather conditions were heavy downpours and overcast, I tried to make the best of a bad situation.
Hunstanton is a popular holiday resort located on the west coast of Norfolk. Along the coast at Old Hunstanton is where you can find cliffs dating back to the cretaceous period.
Happisburgh Lighthouse situated in the small village of Happisburgh on the east coast of Norfolk and is the only independently run lighthouse left in Great Britain.
