Wells-next-the-Sea is located in the North of Norfolk and is a small coastal town which is just over a mile away from the sea. Wells has been served as a port for over 700 years and was at its peak in the 19th century when the quay constructed.
If you walk along the staithe, you will eventually reach the golden sand beach, with its dunes and pine trees and attractively decorated beach huts that stretch for miles towards Holkham.
The pinewoods can be accessed via paths and wooden steps that are found along the stretch of beach. This collection of images was taken in late May along the the beach and along the staithe looking back at the town during a sunny afternoon.
