The Turf Fen Mill is a restored windmill that sits on the bank of the River Ant. It can be viewed from the bank of the River Ant at How Hill, The Environmental Study Centre for the Broads.
This is the first time I have visited this site and it’s thriving with birds and other wildlife. I had a good walk south along the riverbank and then met enthusiast photographer Phil Carpenter.
These photos were snapped just as the sun was setting, giving the reeds that intense golden colour. As the waters were calm I managed to get some photos of sunset and Turf Fen Mill reflecting in the river.
