I popped to Cley next the Sea this evening as I wanted to get some last minute summery shots of Cley Windmill and the surrounding landscape.
Back in February this year, I visited Cley Windmill on a very clear day similar to the conditions of today. The most noticeable difference from my visit in February is the colour of the reeds which were a really golden colour and the position of the sun.
On this visit I wanted to get similar shots to those I got in February so I could compare the landscapes between the different seasons. I also wanted to try and find different perspectives of the mill that I could shoot. I really liked the reads in the foreground and as this is traditional Norfolk resource which is used for thatching, I wanted to include this as much as possible.
